Work with note versions
Dragon Copilot generates a new note version:

After each ambient recording.

The new note version will generate from the combined transcript of all ambient recordings.

When you apply AI prompts or templates that modify the content in any note section.

New note versions generated by AI will include any manual edits you may have already made in Dragon Copilot.

The Version history lists any AI-generated note versions, allowing you to review or compare previous versions and restore a previous note version if necessary.
To display a previous note version:

Select the Version history icon in the Note tab.

Navigate to the previous note version.

Select View to display the previous note version (or select Compare in split view from the menu to display this version beside the current note version).
NOTE: A Restore button will appear in the Note tab when you display a previous note version - allowing you to revert to that previous version (which will then appear as "Current").
Tip: Complete all ambient recordings before making any edits in the note sections in Dragon Copilot. Additional recordings generate new note versions solely based on the combined Transcript of the recordings and will not include any style updates or edits to the note sections you already made in Dragon Copilot prior to the recording. You will have to re-apply any style updates, and if you made revisions to the note before adding a recording you can restore them from the Version history.
