With the Microsoft 365 Copilot app you can have the AI create a short video for you on almost any topic you like. Once the video is created you can edit and refine it to be just what you want.

How to create a video with the Microsoft 365 Copilot app

  1. In the Microsoft 365 Copilot app​​​​​​​ select Create from the navigation on the left side of the screen.

  2. Select Create a video.

  3. Give it a description of the video you'd like. Be as specific as possible for the best results.

    Tip: If you'd like Copilot to create a video from an existing PowerPoint presentation select Add a PowerPoint file instead of typing a description.

  4. Select Create. It usually takes less than a minute to create your video.

Edit the video

The video you get may need a bit of refinement. If the changes are relatively minor, like changing the narration voice from masculine to feminine, or choosing a different kind of background music you can select those changes from the Edit with AI panel.

After you select the changes, select Create new draft to create a new version of the video with your changes in it. Don't worry if you decide the changes aren't better, you can always go back to any prior version of your video.

Save your video

If you're happy with your video and ready to save it, select Edit with Clipchamp from the top of the screen and when the video opens in Clipchamp select the Export button to save it in a common format such as .MP4.
